Lauren graduated from the University of Sydney in 2007 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy). She was the recipient of a Sports Scholarship during her University Study for her chosen sport of tennis.
Many years of experience in various private practices has enabled her to treat a wide range of injuries and gain an extensive knowledge of Exercise Prescription and Rehabilitation, with a particular interest in Sports related injuries.
Lauren has completed various Continuing Education courses including Sports Level 1, Patellofemoral pain (knee pain) management and a casting course, allowing her to capably manage fractures within the practice.
Her previous experience has provided her with opportunities to work with various local and representative sporting teams. She has worked for many years with the rugby union, and track and field teams at Knox Grammar School.
With a focus on the implementation of correct manual handling techniques and exercise prescription for optimal recovery, Lauren is able to utilise this and has great success, especially in patients with work related injuries or back pain.
